The memory patch can help with infinite loading screens, but may reduce performance - tested it myself, for me it did indeed reduce performance a little bit, but you should still have better performance with it compared to not using Engine Fixes. Install like any other mod, and then activate the memory patch within the Engine Fixes.ini. If you want to use its memory patch, you also need the optional memory patch file. TL DR: Part 1 is installed like a normal mod, Part 2 goes into your root directory (where you put your ENB files). Just follow the instructions on the page.
